We offer a number of products with various options. With all of the color, glass and design options, it’s difficult to put a number on the products we build. We do like to say that if you can design it, we can build it.
We manufacture products for residential and commercial applications.
Our goal is to have your door built and ready for installation within 6 weeks of your final approval of the drawing and all of your choices have been finalized.
Iron doors provide the most security, compared to wooden or fiberglass doors. Iron is a much stronger material than either wood or fiberglass. Iron also doesn’t warp, which wood doors can do, especially when subjected to sun/rain.
Yes. We build these using 12 gauge steel tube and other materials. The glass is tempered, which is the safest type of glass to use in this application.
Iron is a much better material for entryways than wood. If your concerns are security, durability and increased value for your home, a custom door from Ironworks America is a better choice than a typical wood door.
Unfortunately, we do not make furniture.
We use 11 and 12 gauge steel to build your door. We typically use ¼ or ⅜ inch clear glass, but offer insulated and tinted laminate glass as well.
Our doors can weigh between 200 and 400 pounds, depending on the scrolls selected and overall size of the door.
If your door is scratched or has a section where the coating has worn down, you could experience some rust. Our service team is available to help you maintain the door, whether it’s a lock or paint issue.
Yes, extremely high quality. Unlike other door companies who outsource their manufacturing to China, we manufacture all our products in the US at our Mississippi manufacturing facility. For comparison, our doors are often 1/2-1" thicker than our competitors. We use the highest grade 12 gauge steel, while most of our competitors use 14 gauge. 12 gauge steel is 30% thicker than 14 gauge.
We are one of the only iron door manufacturers to build everything in our own factory. Our competitors are typically importing doors from Mexico or China and installing them as custom doors. Our doors are 100% custom made in our Mississippi factory.
We manufacture all our products in the US at our Mississippi manufacturing facility.
